recently ive had many of my apps suddenly close. its understandable if it occurs every once in awhile but it is getting outta hand. i get these errors on safari the most. illustrator, font book, i mean almost every program.
i tried repairing permissions but that didnt seem to help any. even my pc doesnt **** up this much!

Do you get actual error messages? Have you verified the disk from Disk Utility? Have you installed third party RAM? In Activity Monitor, is there a single process that's using up a lot of resources? Do you have any hacks installed on your system?

Hopefully we'll get this sorted soon. A crashing Mac is totally uncool.

It's probably a long shot, as it seems many programs are crashing, but have you tried trashing the preferences for the apps that are unstable? These can sometimes cause crashes if they go screwy.

Have you added any RAM recently? Bad RAM is a common cause of Application problems. Try running the checks on the Hardware Test disk that should have come with you Mac (it may be part of the restore disk).

Try cleaning your caches with Tiger Cache Cleaner - also helps with "unexpectedly quit" messages. That and faulty ram...

A little more feedback would be greatly appreciated. If there are bits of robbieduncan's and my own earlier post that you do not understand, then feel free to ask for an attempt at an explanation. :)
