I dunno if I'd get too excited yet... Did you see what they had to do to one of those mice to make this happen?

In fact, one of the moms was a mutant newborn, whose DNA had been altered to make it act like a male’s contribution to an embryo.

This does show some promise for stem cell research however. Too bad that kind of research is nearly verboten in this country.

There was other research I saw someplace where they coaxed a somatic cell to undergo meiosis and make 4 sperm. Now if you were to take the cells from a woman and then dig this coaxing you could have a 2 mommied child with far fewer hoops.
