Unflashed 6870 with 10.11?

Hello,

Been reluctant to upgrade from 10.8.5, and I'm thinking about trying 10.11 when it comes out this fall. One of the subject I've stopped following was GPUs. I currently use an unflashed 6870 in my 4,1, and besides not having a boot screen, it works flawlessly.

Will 10.11 change anything about unflashed GPUs?

I have a 4.1 that has the upgraded efi to 5.1 and I am currently testing 10.11 and it works fine. No boot screen of course because I haven' flashed it yet.
