Unibody MBP Startup?

I was so pumped about Snow Leopard, because it would help my boot up speed. I have not really noticed any difference from Leopard, it still takes quite awhile for my login screen to come up. Is this just me or is this a pretty common problem?

I think the only people that notice a big difference are the ones that actually stopwatch their startup times.

I've not noticed any increase in boot times, but then I don't time it and I hardly reboot the computer.
