Hey everyone,
I've been searching for weeks on a part name that the macbook pro A1278 has, so I can find a replacement. So far there isn't a specific name nor do any of the apple websites hold any information on what material it is and its purpose. The part is the foam that is glued on the upper and lower cases. I have an image here:

So far I researched possibilities:
Conductive foam
Open-Cell polyurethane foam coated with nickel & copper
open-cell nickel foam
Aluminum foam

If anyone has any information on what is material is and where I can buy it, I'll be eternally grateful. I'm pretty sure it is a polyurethane foam with some sort of metal coating. Thank you.
