Hi, I'm new at all this Mac-stuff...and I don't really know much about it, but I succeed installing Limewire, the problem is that I wanted to unistall it, because I had found another program I wanted to use instead. Okay, normally in Windows (wich I'm used to) you can find an "uninstall"button in the Limewirefiles, but I couldn't find any. The problem is that Limewire was running on my computer, and to delete the files I might want the program to be shut down, all right then - the program didn't want to shut down when I told it to do it, and because i got a little mad i oppened Macintosh HD and delited all the limewire files I could find, in hope that the program would then just shut down - but when i did this only some of the files i tried to delite, actually was delited - (because as the computer told me "limewire is still running) - my problem is that now Limewire will not shut down, even when the battery runs out, it is still running the next time i turn the computer on. How the hell do I get rid of ALL limewire, so that my Mac is clean?!?!?!?!?!
Ps. Long explaination

OK, take a deep breath and relax.

If the program will not quit, go to the Apple menu, select Force Quit and quit the application that way..

Do a spotlight search for LimeWire and then trash all the files.
