UNINSTALL Safari 1.0 and reinstall Beta .....

what exactly is your problem? going back to a beta is going to be mighty difficult. safari 1.0 not only installed the webcore.framework, it also installed an updated version of foundation.framework, so your going to have to find some way to extract foundation.framework from whatever the last 10.2.x update was that changed it (download the package from apple and extract it with pacifist). this may work, but you may also have to delete all files that safari placed on your computer, re-install the 10.2.6 combo update, and then find a beta to use.
to avoid all that, i'd recomend figuring out what's causing your problem, as it is probably fixable.

The problem is that Safari does NOT refresh webpages. If I visit a page now, and the revisit it 5 hours from now, I get the same page as before. The only way to 'refresh' the webpage is to hit the refresh button. This is too annoying to even bother with Safari. If there is no way to uninstall, the I will have to consider using only IE............
I wish I could get Safari to work period.

Ok regarding the slow page loads, server not found errors and having to reload all the time, I believe I've solved my problems. Any one of these could have done the trick, I'd suggest trying each of them.
1) Repair Permissions. I have no idea how it would have fixed the problems, but it just might have.
2) Restart your computer. Heh, I almost forgot this was an option...
3) Restart your airport base station. I believe that if any of these will work, it's probably restart the base station.
I hope this helps... Safari is such a solid browser for me, it's too bad that it still has quirks like this now that it's out of beta.

Apple is suspiciously silent about this one, but it's a problem a lot of people seem to be encountering. I've had it happen more than a few times myself, but not with any regularity...
i've found other problems with it as well, for me it crashes constantly, pages render wrong, links become unclickable and unscrollable, sometimes needing only a reload, sometimes needing safari to be shut down (and the system rebooted in one case, it suddenly refused to relaunch after a crash...)
wish there was some way to go back. Looks like i might be making the switch back to a mozilla-clone before long, which i really don't want to do...
