Uninstalled apps

Why don't the apps that I uninstalled on my phone get removed from the application section of iTunes? I installed one I didn't intend to, so I removed it from my phone (using the phone). Well, I have it unchecked on iTunes so it doesn't sync and reinstall, but how do I completely remove it from my iTunes?? This make sense?

you just delete it. Right click and press delete (or it might be called 'remove from library')

If you want to remove it from iTunes, right click on it from Library -> Applications, and choose "Delete."
