Hey!
I would like to re-intall mac os x on my new macbook, thus saving me space by removing all the printer drivers. How do I custom install do chosse which drivers and applications I want to install? I have already re-insttaled once.

I can't help you on how to do an OS X, no apps instal.

You might want to read this article Scroll down to the bottom and look for the section titled "Free Up HD Space on OS X". This guy has a good set of tools listed.

I don't think you will really save too much space by removing only print drivers and language localizations- you might get a GB or more. Ditch Grageband and it's library, and anything else you don't use.

Search the forum for individual issues.

You need to choose custom install. I don't think there's an option to select apps not to install, but if there is, is in there too.

this is correct... reformat the hard drive to wipe everything out and then do a custom install, or you could get monolingual to wipe all the languages and architectures off the machine that you dont need...
