Just noticed while moving my unit around a bit that the casing felt kind of hot. Maybe very hot (but still touchable). Can I assume this is normal?

I have the unit in an entertainment center with doors that close so it does not get a lot of ventilation but its much hotter than the DVR next to it.

Thank G-d it does not have a fan like the MacBook Air. It would be buzzing it's head off.

Yes- it's normal. Just make sure you don't set anything on top of it or have it in a tight space and it should be fine.

You gotta be more careful with your unit!! :D

What kind of unit are we talking about??

My wife is happy that my unit is hot but touchable and that is normal. I will try to keep my unit from burning up.

Let's see... before version 2.0, my unit was so hot you could...
... fry an egg on it.
... heat your house with it in the dead of winter.
... (try a few yourself! ;))
