I have an M1 11" iPad Pro and a 16" M1P MacBook Pro. I've been having a lot of fun with Universal Control since updating to the latest OS versions, however soon I've noticed an unusual battery drain when the iPad was not in use. Just recently, it discharged from 25% to 1% overnight. The Mac has been off with lid closed at the time.
Disabling "Cursor and Keyboard" in Handoff options seems to fix this problem, but I would like to continue using Universal Control, as I love this feature in general. I understand that UC could be a battery heavy feature while in use, but I wouldn't expect it to have such an impact on the battery life when the iPad's screen is off.
Is this normal? Does anyone else see a similar issue on their devices?
