unjailbroke phone & now some apps disappeared but say I have them installed still

sorry for the long title!

I restored my phone, but interestingly, many of my apps (including shazam and ebay) are no longer on there. When I go to the app store to DL them, it says they are already DL'ed onto my phone.

They do sync from my phone and show up on my computer/itunes! I've tried deleting them off the computer, syncing, redownloading...they just then disappear off my phone!

please help? I miss my shazam!

You probably had categories installed when you were jailbroken. You should go into settings>general>reset>reset homescreen layout.

I did! Trying your suggestion now- Thanks so much!!!

EDIT:

it is still erasing the apps from my phone when they finish downloading- any idea what else to do?

In case anyone else is having this problem- I followed the advice above, but reset EVERYTHING. And now it works!
