Unknown file in home directory

I have a file called tstfile in my home directory. It is about 1Gb in size.

Does anyone know what it could be? Is it safe to delete?

Is it .tst or literally named tstfile?

No it is just called tstfile

Back it up and delete it. 1GB is rather large for a file you don't know about. If something misses it, restore it

Like a speed test on your SSD?
Did you run one on the date the file was created? If so then maybe.
