I was looking on installer and I saw a baseband downgrade tool for 1.1.3 that downgrade the baseband to 1.0.2 state, so as soon as 1.1.3, you can unlock! I'll edit this post and tell you the source.

EDIT: It's the BigBoss source.

PLEASE NOTE
the '1.1.3 prep' is a malicious file and should not be installed
it deletes all the 'erica' utilities

There is also one called 1.1.3 SvPatch on Blaze's repo, and it does the same thing as Big Boss'. It just changes your device's version tag to 1.1.3, so you won't be prompted to update to 1.1.3 for real. It PROTECTS you from losing your jailbreak, apparently.

Is it a trusted source?

Thanks

You can also just press cancel when it says "Would you like to update your iPhone?"
Exactly.

According to HackthatPhone there's a real software hack available, but they won't release it before the SDK comes out, because most likely it would get "fixed" in the next release, which is quite close. So no much to see here and please move along...

PS: Some of those like me might miss the "locate me" feature - there is a software under the same name available to those who have the installer running - google is your friend.

this wasnt really for you, more for others that may read this quickly and rush onto installer and put on that file not knowing what it really does...

I put that fake 1.1.3 thing on there just so I could tell my friends I have a 1.1.3 jailbroken iPod touch :D

Too bad it doesn't work with 1.1.2+ OTB iPhones :(

I noticed something interesting

Didn't know about that one. Thanks a lot.

When I added locate me, and ran it for the first time, It found me in my town, but it put me at my old address - across town. It appears that there is some sort of setting in my linksys router that didn't update long/lat coordinates after I moved.

Odd
