Hi,

I was wondering if you could tell me the easiest and best ways (I guess these may be different) to unlock a 3G phone to use it on the UK 3 Network.

I have my 3G for sale and the person who wants to buy it is on the 3 Network and would like to stay there, what is the best way to let her access all the normal 3G features but with a 3 sim.

Thanks

I've an unlocked 2G and could never get it to work on 3. It says 'Invalid SIM' for both PAYG and contract :(

3 has always been the odd one out in the UK for some reason. Any unlocked phone will work with every carrier apart from them. I don't quite know why they're so different.

I remember when I was on 3 a few years ago they always used to refer to the SIM card as a USIM card, so I'm guessing the card must be formatted differently.
