I've a good opportunity to buy for 300$ an iMac Pro coming from an auction of items from a bankrupt company...
There is an iMac Pro (2017).

But it's company locked.

Is there any way to unlock / reset a such iMac without special Apple hardware ?

Yes, replace the T2 chip first.
Then you know what to do.

I know.... If it was possible to unlock in a such way.... It would be known and the guy would sell the imac pro for much more than 300$.... I'm maybe considering buying it for spare screen, parts... Maybe converting it into a screen like Luke Miani has done

Good at $150 for parts. Keep the screen, RAM, SSD, sell the motherboard on eBay as 'parts only'. Don't spend more than $150, preferably less.

Yes, I have one from a bankrupt company. it wouldn’t work in the start. But after contacting support, I got a list af steps to do, and since then it has worked. It is not often you need to do it unless you power off at the wall. Very nice machine and very quiet. It is like buying an old limusine :-D
