Unlock iPhone 2g, 3.1.2 04.05.04_G

My friend lost her 3Gs so her mom gave her the old iPhone. Now she needs to unlock the phone to be able to use it. We've gotten as far as updating it from 1.1.2 to 3.1.2 and jailbreaking it using blackra1n. We've got cydia installed and we're trying to download bootneuter. However, the baseband of the phone is 04.05.04_G. Most of the guides I've read mention that it has to be the 05.07.11 baseband.

How do we unlock this thing?
 
There is not 05.11.07 baseband for the 2G. You're reading guides for the 3G/3GS and conflating them with the 2G guides. Just download BootNeuter and unlock.
