hi all, I have an iphone 4 that i updated to ios 6.1.2, I preserved the baseband on 04.10.01, the device is jailbroken with sn0wbreeze. The question is I would like to unlock my device so it can be used on orange (it is currently locked to 3uk). What is the best cheapest way to do this? Factory unlock is £110 so cant afford that. Is gevey sim ultra the way to go? Will this work well on ios 6.1.2? Any input would be great, thanks.

I believe you should be asking Applenberry or checking their website for iOS6 compatibility. There are several versions of Gevey sims - most do not seem to work on iOS6 from what I have read.

I recommend you sell that phone and buy a version from a carrier you can get IMEI unlocked cheaply.
The resale market for iPhones is extensive.
