Alright so I have a few questions,
first off I have used the blackra1n jailbreak to unlock my iPhone 3g s and when ever the phone shuts off I have to "make it rain" kind of a bother, is there anyway around this other then not letting my phone die?

Second, if I get my phone professionally unlocked at a mall or something would this still happen?

Third, while my phone is unlocked can I get any updates?

Yes I am a noob lol thanks for any feedback!!

Ps would also like to point out even with my phone not being able to turn off I think the jailbreak/unlock is amazing thanks to all the folks who have put their time and hardwork into making these applications!!

1. Yes, it will still happen for the moment untill a new jailbreak is maybe released in the future without needing a tethered reboot.
2. Yes, same thing. Those "professionals" at the mall use the exact same tools given out by Geohot and The Dev Team but charge naive people that cant follow a few step by step instructions.
3. Yes, you can get updates for apps. If you update the firmware it will go back to a factory settings and a nonjailbroken nonunlocked factory setting.
