I have tried to search but did not find a specific thread with this problem. Excuse me if there is such, I am new to the forum world.

I have an iPhone, not 3g, and dont know what version software is loaded on it. I would like to be able to use this phone on Tmobile. I see there are tons of sites on google that can fix this problem but trust you guys will be able to tell the the legit method and the best.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Help!!!

Ok, I have the phone in my hand. Its an 8g Non-3g Iphone and I have it hooked up to my MacBook. I would like to unlock it to be used on Tmobile?

Looking for a kick in the right direction

Im a MacBook user but can do it on a PC too... Im a switch user!

Download PwnageTool, just google it up. Launch the app, the rest should be self explanatory. select the model iPhone you have and there should be an option to unlock.

QuickPwn is pretty easy
and I would suggest QuickPwn on PC. Last I tried QuickPwn for Mac jailbreaks but doesn't actually unlock. If you go with Mac anyway, you need to install and run BootNeuter from Cydia to unlock. Cydia is the equivalent of App Store for the Jailbreak world.
