my iphone is now on a plane from US to UK..
customs pending, i should receive it by weds/thurs *fingers crossed*

i'm off to get an orange PAYG sim card today to mess around with the iPhone..

Thanks guys, i'll be getting the next one up ASAP. It just got too late last night.

Also thanks for the Digg, glad i never hosted my own as the Digg effect would ahve cost me a small fortune in bandwidth

Also dalvin200 you are right "3" sims will not work. However you are OK with other UK providers.

They'll be more videos after these showing each network and some customisation. However i think i'll just use one video source

i'm really wanting my iphone asap but do you guys really think this is the way to go? what happens if apple release a new update and every unlocked phone is turned into a brick. I'm pretty sure apple are reading these boards and if you have a look at the official apple forums there talking about unlocks there aswell.
for all i want one i'm waiting for the official launch date

Just boils down to how desperate you are for the latest and greatest.

Sure Apple can release an update that locks down the current jailbreaks. You don't have to install it. Thing is that update will have some new shiney you'll really want. So then you'll need to wait for the hackers to come up with a new workaround for you to install that new patch.

As Jobs said, its a cat and mouse game. Which are you, Tom or Jerry?
