unlockabiliity of 1.1.3

I've been reading around forums from googling, and people are kinda hopeful of being able to unlock the new 1.1.3. My question is - if the current baseband is unlockable, wouldn't Apple reuse the same baseband in the new 1.1.3 firmware?

noone knows until the update is released...
and its not the baseband thats the trouble, you can change the baseband version
its the bootloader that is currently uncrackable...

It's the baseband bootloader (from Infineon) that's the problem here:

As for 1.1.3, if the baseband bootloader isn't crackable it's possible they'll leave as is. They might try and plug the any O2/ATT sim approach perhaps.

If they're going to patch even the activation approach, then it's important to get hold of the 1.1.2 before they're sold out then!!?
