Okay my daughter bought a jailbroke Iphone 2g and it has worked just fine with her tmobile card. She decided to upgrade i-tunes and after that it froze her phone and will only allow emergency calls and you can't access anything else on the phone. Any suggestions on what to do????

Thanks for any help!

Problem is that I can't seem to get it to do anything. The screen will only show the emergency #'s and when plugged into i-tunes it said there is not an active sims card in it. So basically an at&T one. When I put one of those in it wanted to activate a new account.

Turn the phone off, and then hold the home button while connecting it to iTunes, and it will turn on automatically and be in recovery mode, and then you can restore/update to 3.0.1.

It sounds like you guys actually updated the iPhone OS software (which would re-lock the iPhone).
So you need to re-jailbreak and re-unlock the iPhone. Although, as stated, you should make sure you are on iPhone OS 3.0.1 before you do so.
