Unlocked iPhone 3GS pay as you go

Hi,

Does any one know if we will soon be getting Unlocked iPhone 3GS on pay as you go by any providers......so that there is no need to wait for 12 months which O2 offers at the moment.....

I think I read that Orange will offer it after only 3 months.

If so, maybe O2 will follow suit. Hope so, I 'm in the same boat.
