Unlocked iPhone and app store question. (Definitive answer needed please :))

After googling and mroogling I keep coming up with mixed answers. Heres my question:

If I unlock a phone (NOT jailbreak, just unlock) and I have it work on T Mobile can I still download from the app store and sync to the phone?

Yes my phone is unlocked on T-Mobile, and the app store and syncing continue to function as normal. I promise you'll be fine.

Well I've had 2 iphones both unlocked on T-Mobile and I've never had a problem buying or downloading apps from the app store both over wifi and 3G.

I'm on T-Mobile UK, all I would say is setup your iTunes account, if you haven't already, from a computer. Just makes the process much simpler. All you need then are your user name and password and as you as per normal.
