i bought an iphone in the US and so did my brother. We both had the 1.0.2 firmware and had it jailbroken and unlocked. We have exactly the same plan, SIM and service provider. He updated to 1.1.1 and has service all the time. When I was in 1.0.2 I hardly ever got service. I then upgraded to 1.1.2, then 1.1.4 (ziphone) and finally 2.0 (pwnge). I only receive serivce occasionally wheras my brother has service all the time. I tried getting a new SIM but it made no difference. I use OS X so can someone pls help me get service, im not sure what the prob is.

i couldnt use my patched ipsw so i then used quikpwn to jailbreak 2.0.2
it worked butthen i realised that the baaseband was corrupted and that i need to virginize it.
so i decided to downgrade to 1.1.4 but it didnt work
i even downgraded 2 itunes 7.5
