Unlocked iPhone on 3 (UK)

I have just unlocked my original iPhone and tried it with my gf's 3 Sim - it always says "Invalid Sim" - are 3 Sim cards not working in the iphones - just wondering incase it just didn't unlock

3 Sim cards are 3G only, and won't work in first gen iPhones (not-3G).

Thought so - wasn't too sure - hopefully it'll work with my friends Vodafone sim

When you unlocked it what happened? did you use pwnage? or another method.

The easiest way of course is to try another SIM!

The 3 sim will only work on the 3G, as 3 don't use GSM
