unlocked iphone upgrading from 1.0.1 to 1.0.2?

I've recently purchased a software unlocked iphone and it's firmware is 1.0.1.
I'm wondering if I can upgrade to 1.0.2 from itunes directly. Will that break the unlock?

yes along with activation but not the unlock
