Im sure this has been covered before buy at this point I don't have the time to search the forums throughout. If I buy an iPhone from the UK. Ship it to the US. And unlock it to use on T-Mobile USA. Are there any other challenges that would make this process any different than if the iPhone was from the US?

£269 + £20 shipping = £289

vs.

$400 + sales tax $15 = $415/£210

saving = £79 / 2 iPod Shuffles, 2 Pizzas and 2 Beers

both, after being unlocked will work.

oh, and one more thing:
the UK iPhone has 4 ugly logo's written on the back, with pictures of bins and crosses on. the US one doesn't!

always wondered - where does the delta in price go to? If VAT is included, then it's not going to Her Majesty, then who?
