Just unlocked a used iPhone 2g that I bought of craigslist. It seems that wifi and Bluetooth are busted. When I go under settings they are both gray in shade and say not available. I can't even go into them. Do you think this was caused by me unlocking it or is this a hardware issue? I tried resetting, nothing.

I think the 1st issue might be that you bought it off Craigslist. But that might just be because i'm biased towards that sight.
It would help if we knew what program you used to unlock it.
I think you are biased. I sold my old original 16GB iPhone on craiglist and sell tickets, etc there all the time.
Anyway, to the OP, it may be a hardware issue. Restore the phone to a stock 2.2.1 and see if you can take it to an Apple Store and speak with a Genius. While it's not under warranty, they might be able to see if it is in fact a hardware issue or not.
