Unlocking 1st Gen iPhone with 2.0 firmware

Can anyone tell me how I can unlock an iPhone (1st gen) with 2.0 firmware, preferably by a method that doesn't mess around with the bootloader, as I've already bricked an iPhone a few months ago.
