Hi, quick question!!

Prior to updating to iOS 10, when I opened the Smart Cover on my iPad Air 2, I would simply hold my thumb on the home button and use Touch ID to unlock the screen (not actually press the home button) and I would be taken to the home screen.

However, now that I have updated to iOS 10, doing the same process does NOT take me to the home screen? Holding my thumb on the home button does still unlock my device, via Touch ID, however, now, I actually have to press the home button to go to the home screen?!

Is this correct or is there a setting somewhere to change this behaviour?!

Yes, you can change it in Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Home Button (names may be slightly different as I am translating to English)
