hey all,

so i recently bought a brand new 1.1.2 iphone and wanted to activate and jailbreak it. i have unlocked several 1.1.2 iphones and now that 1.1.3 is up during the last step when you go from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 you click update on itunes.... however if you click update now it updates it to 1.1.3 not 1.1.2. how would i do this?

thanks so much,
ipaqman

I think what you are asking (sorry, I'm a but confused) is how to install 1.1.2 and not 1.1.3 (the default now). On a Windows machine, I believe you hold down the Shift key while clicking update. On a Mac, you hold down the Alt/Option key while clicking update. Then you can choose which installer to use. You must first find the old 1.1.2 software online and download it.

Can you not do it by putting it into recovery mode? Then using the Option+Click method (Mac).
