As I'm in China I should wait for a few more mouths for the new version and pay
about $800 more to buy a MBP.It's very ridiculous as they are made in ShangHai in fact. The government and dealer rob me of $800!

You do know that HK is about the cheapest place to get a MacBook Pro right?

Just drive over the border (and risk getting executed for tax evasion).

You only need to open the box and use it as to show that it's only a personal purchase, dont have to pay the custom tax

Nope! Was there 2 weeks ago,... cost more than USA! I am 100% sure!

you cant be 100% sure, just look at the online store prices... Hong Kong IS cheaper.

Actually, the Hong Kong price is usually within the range of 1US = 7.6 to 7.9 Hong Kong Dollars (take or give a few dollars to make it a nice, whole number).

The point is that though, Hong Kong and the US have very similar pricing. Plus no tax. :)

1999 vs 15400
similar
but maybe he is living FAR from Hong Kong:rolleyes:

Thank u very much for helping me!
It's quite easy for me to go to HongKong to buy something.
In fact I always go there to buy something from Europe or USA.
