Hi,

I decided to send back my AirPods Pro because they don’t fit my ears well. When they were connected I went into the Bluetooth settings and clicked on „Forget This Device“. After that I reset them.

Now I just noticed that they are still listed in the Find My app. Will they get deleted there automatically after some time or do I have to delete them there as well?

Thanks and best wishes
Chris

Actually, it's listed in my Find My app with an option to remove but maybe removing them from bluetooth settings messes that up. Anyways, In a browser, open icloud.com. Open Find iPhone. Find your Airpods in the list and tap on it. There should be an option to remove it from your account...

Removing the AirPods pro from your Bluetooth settings on your phone will do the same thing, it will remove from iCloud.

That's what I was assuming as well. That's the reason why I was surprised to still see them in the Find My app. Perhaps they would have disappeared by themselves after some time, I don't know.
