Unreadable Audio Cd's

I am using the Optiarc BD RW BD-5730S in a sata/usb enclosure with a Mid 2011 Mac Mini.
Everything seems to work fine other than an annoying issue with some Audio CD's that result in an 'Unreadable Disc' error
The same discs can be played under windows in Parallels with no problem
Any suggestions?

Are they regular CDs or some kind of "enhanced CD" with additional multimedia in a data partition?

May have nothing to do with it, but just checking.

that is a lion software issue. document it and send it off to apple.

they may put in a patch. or not
