Hi,

I've been playing unreal tournament 2004 demo on my intel macbook (OSX 10.5.2) and one day it just stopped working and it won't run. It says "unreal tournament has quit unexpectedly. I've started restarting it and everything but it won't work.

Please help:D

Reinstall

Same thing happened to me on my Aluminum iMac a few months ago. UT 2004 had been running fine for a while but all the sudden didn't want to launch anymore. Not sure why. At the time, I hadn't installed any OSX updates or any other new software.

Just back up any files you want to keep (additional maps, mods, prefs, user files, etc.) to a different place on your hard drive, do a reinstall, run the reinstalled version to make sure it works, and then copy your backup files to the appropriate folders. If UT stops working after you add back those files, then maybe one of them is causing the problem.

I'm not on my home machine right now, so I don't remember if all of the maps, mods, and user files are hidden in the application package or stored somewhere else on the hard drive. If you haven't added new maps or mods and don't want to save your character settings, just do a reinstall.
