So...I've had my 13" MBA for a couple weeks now and have loved it. I was using it last night just fine and go to use it around noon today and it is completely unresponsive. I've tried all of the troubleshooting options available on the Apple website for those whose computers won't start up. I really don't want to have to bring this in to my not-so-local Apple Store which is almost two hours away and I reeaally don't want all of my data erased. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything I can do?

Thanks.

BTW this is the maxed out 13"

I assumed you held the power key for 10 seconds, released it, and then pressed it again? If plugged in and still no sound or light I would guess the only thing would be to bring it into an Apple store.

Same thing happened to my with my 10 day old 11" version.
I had to take it to the local apple store. They swapped out the motherboard. It took them 6 days, fortunately all my data was there when I got it back. (my time machine back up was not up to date) They probably put the old flash drive back into the new board.
Just before the fault I could hear a very silent but not normal buzzing sound from the fans, but that was it. One night switched it off, dead the next morning... Very frustrating, but its better to have it now then after the guarantee runs out. :) Of course its best not to have it at all!

I took it to the Apple Store where a Genius took a quick look at it in the back. They gave me a new one free of charge. I lost my data, however now that I look back I really didn't have too much on the machine that I really needed. :apple:, gotta love 'em.
