Ok. I have a C2D MBP as listed in sig. I run parallels because my math class is internet based. I kept getting the error message saying something like The USB device you are trying to use is being used by another devide and to wait a few minutes. But I would get about 4 or 5 at once and the track pad and keyboard would be completely unresponsive. So I finsihed what I was doing and put it to sleep after about a minute of no controll of the said mentioned. About 5 hours later (right now) I pull the MBP out of my carrying bad, it wakes from sleep and NOTHING! It wakes fine, everything loads, but i have no mouse or keyboard. i force restarted, nothing. i reset the SMC (system management controller (formerly PMU), nothing. what can I do? today was also the last day of my free 90 day phone tech support too. bummer. ill call tomorrow and see if they will give it to me out of sympathy.
But in the mean time, WHAT DO I DO?! i need the computer for school!.
Edit: havent tried the BT mouse and keyboard yet, but hope to within an hour. oh and i forgot that the cd drive would spontainously eject (with the fade in/out image on the screen with me pressing nothing and there being no cd in the drive. PLEASE RESPOND!
