Hey all, I’m running the public beta of iOS 15 on my iPad Air (4th Gen) and my screen just went unresponsive. Can’t even restart the iPad cause I can’t swipe to turn off. Anybody got any other remedies other than let the battery run out? Thanks in advance.

Try forcing a reboot, maybe that’ll work!

I had this happen to me while asking Maps to route something. Complete freeze. When I eventually got my iPad Pro to shut down, it really didn't, I had a black screen with a never ending watch cursor. I had to try forcing a reboot a dozen or so times before I got my iPad to actually shut down and restart for real.

Had this issue with iPhone. Had to force restart as nothing was not responding.

I've had this happen a couple times while trying to use Maps in CarPlay. A force reboot fixes it.
