To give some background of why I replaced my screen the reason is because about two months back I dropped my iPhone 7 Plus and cracked the screen and the phone still worked though. Then about a month and half of dealing with a cracked screen while using it the screen went a shade of black that wasn't quite as black as when the phone is powered off. When I forced restarted it would go to the full black screen and when I recieved calls my phone would still ring and it was functional. I decided to replace the phone on my own as a broke college student and I bought a digitizer + LCD off Amazon. I &&^&@@ up on the replacement in two areas. The first being I ripped the cord on the home button so the home button doesnt respond which isn't my concern at this point. The second thing is on the front sensor I riped off some little peice which is I believe the ambient light sensor if I'm not mistaken. When I replaced my phone and turned it on it took forever at the Apple power on screen and it turns on normally once it finally loads but none of the touch response works at all. I doubt it would be a faulty screen as I messed up in multiple areas. I don't have enough money to bring it in to a shop to repair so I'm wondering where I could have messed up so I can try to reconnect something or whatever it needs. If there is a specific part(s) that could cause this please inform me!
