Hello everyone!

I am about to upgrade my Mac mini M1 to macOS Monterey, but before doing so was thinking about downgrading to 11.2 first (using a fresh install) so I could get a couple more iOS apps on my system that are officially blocked from macOS, then upgrade to Monterey. The question now is whether this is even still possible, does anyone know that?

Cheers,
Daniel

EDIT

Nvm, even if I can install a blocked app it won't start on any macOS version post 11.2 I just found out...

I don't know about 11.2, but I'm still able to install and run .ipa files under Monterey. One is a game and one is a banking app. Does that help with your question?

This is absolutely possible if developer of the app has actively granted permission to install his iOS Apps on macOS as far as I know. The problem are those apps that don't have that permission officially.

Yes, I understand about this. Neither of the apps I installed are official. I'd had the IPAs since the time we were able to get them, so only installed them today as a test. I don't know how one gets unofficial IPAs at this point.
