Hi! So one of my screen recordings didn't save properly when I clicked Stop, it didn't appear on the desktop.
Do you know how to recover it? I am using QuickTime. I searched in the Autosave location and tried to restart my Mac and also used StellarDataRecovery but not deep scan but didn't find it. Any ideas?

You could try searching for it:

1. search for .mov files on your mac
2. search for files created when you clicked stop

Check the temporary folder on your Mac to see if the screen recording file is located there. The temporary folder is typically located in "/private/var/folders/. Check the temporary folder on your Mac to see if the screen recording file is located there. The folder is in "/private/var/folders/." Look for a folder with a name starting with "TemporaryItems" or "com.apple.QuickTimePlayerX."
