Hi,

I got my iPhone today and unlocked it with Ziphone. Since then my iPhone has been very unstable - apps keep crashing and the iPhone reboots every five minutes or so.

I unlocked 1.1.3. Updated to 1.1.4, unlocked again. And the problem's still there. I must have tried restoring a hundred times only to see the same problem after unlocking.

Any ideas what I should do?

thanks,
M.

Same thing happened to me I used Ziphone and the Phone kept restarting at what seemed to be random times- but in my case I can no prove that the ziphone was the cause cause i never started the phone long enough to know if it worked before Ziphone jailbreak, in other words I just got the phone and didn't give it time to see if the shutdown problem existed before Ziphone.

In any case just restore the Iphone to it's virgin state and take it into Apple Genius bar and they will replace it like they did mine!

I don't live in the US so I hope there's another way to stop it from rebooting. Do you think it could help if i use a revirginizing tool?

Had the same unstable state the first time I used ziphone and added a few items via installer. I restored via itunes, ran ziphone one more time and have had no problems this time.

I believe you have to be careful what you install once you've got the installer up and running via ziphone. Some folks seem to have no problems running almost everything and other's can have problems.

I now simply add items I find useful rather than "sounds interesting" :D
