unsupported macbook 1,1 (early 2006) question

I want to install yosemite, however.....

I have read here that many have been able to successfully upgrade to mavericks and/or Yosemite on unsupported macs using a special method.

I have seen these guides list the minimum requirements for a macbook from late 2006 (2,1)

You're out of luck. Your MacBook has a 32 bit processor which cannot run Yosemite whatsoever.

No, this CPU cannot run Yosemite. It's a 32-bit Core Duo, not a Core 2 Duo. Also, your link doesn't work; the site has been suspended.

Ahh, I see. I mistaken it for a Core 2 Duo. Sorry Gramps416, but it needs to support OS X 10.7 Lion to be capable of using this guide.; Also for reference, that site was reset to different server. High CPU Usage are common right now

my number one concern was security. not receiving updates anymore, i don't know if it is safe to use or not. If something was wrong with 10.6, i suppose we wouldn't know about it
