Unwanted sleep

I have this new problem. On my Macbook Pro after i wake it up from sleep and log in. After a few seconds on and when Im doing stuff...the display goes to sleep. It will only turn on when I press the power button. It doesnt shut down...just...the display sleeps automatically when I JUSt wake it up. Please help.

idk how to explain it. Its like

My Mac is sleeping. When I wake it up and log in, a few seconds the display turns off. No keys work I just press the power button to turn it back on.

Try going to system settings>energy saver>restore defaults.

If that doesn't help, try an smc reset.

I did! It seems like it has stopped. Thats good lol thanks for your help
