iPhone 8/Plus Unwrapped iphone - battery?

Hi there, just bought new sealed iphone 8 - it is gonna be a present, so I need to keep it sealed and unwrapped - for approx 2 months. Will it impact battery health? Or are current batteries so advanced that few months in factory status wont affect their health?

Nothing noticeable happens to the battery if it’s left like that to begin with. You never know how long some stocks linger around in retail stores.

2 month time won’t do much difference on the battery than the condition it’s already in. However, if the iPhone 8 itself is an old stock from last year, then there’s already a small amount of degradation.
