I was just looking at my iMac UPC label (which I need for printer rebate).

Anyways, my iMac config is:

24" / 2.66 GHz / 4 GB / 640 GB HD

and my UPC label reads:

20" / 2.66 GHz / 2 GB / 320 GB HD

Now, I called Apple, and he said it shouldn't matter, but I need the order receipt and UPC label to match, what now?

Any ideas?

It shouldn't matter unless the webpage is not allowing you to proceed. I don't know who or how the rebates are managed but I think if you input what you have, should be good enough, the information is on the Apple system regardless if you have that specific model printed on the label.

I live in Canada, so its a bit different, needs to be mailed in.

However, I need to send in my receipt, which shows I bought a 24" iMac, and my UPC labels which says (remember its wrong) that I bought a 20" iMac. My order has a different serial number than the actual UPC label too, I'm sure this is going to spark something in the rebate department?

Also, isn't it kind of odd that my iMac box had a completely different UPC label? I mean, the UPC label says its a 20" iMac, when its a 24" iMac, not to mention all the internal configurations.

Apple online store.

Ok, rather than testing your luck that the rebate will actually work with the incorrect info on the label, call AppleCare and asked to be transferred to Sales Support Online (SSO) and talk to the agent. Have your information ready such as receipt number, order number, serial number etc. They should be able to help you or guide you on how to go through with the rebate.
