Romania, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Greece had all been enabled this morning.Does anyone have any clue? And about those “server side changes” where can I look them up?
A total of 13 countries, to be precise. 12 in Eastern Europe plus Portugal in Western Europe. Big news will be when we hear about a single Spanish speaking country in America or one in Africa getting Apple Pay. Apple Pay launching anywhere in Europe is hardly news anymore at this point.A lot of countries all at once!

Yeah I know, but with over 40 countries in Europe already covered Apple launching apple pay anywhere else in the region is no news at all anymore. Big news will be when apple decides to bring apple pay into any of the regions that are currently completely uncovered such as most of Asia, All of Latin America except Brazil, and all of Africa. There are only a few European countries in Southeastern Europe, Moldova and Belarus left now. And it took them years to cover most of Europe.
yeah, that too.Now its time to start with ApplePay Cash, Apple Card and ApplePay Express Transit across the Europe.
If it's because you buy your groceries at Kroger, you gotta stop going there. You should be able to use Apple Pay to buy groceries at places other than Kroger. Except for them, HEB, Walmart and Publix, practically every supermarket chain in the US already accepts Apple Pay. This includes Whole Foods, Albertsons Group (which owns and operates several supermarket chains all over the US such as Randalls, Safeway, United Supermarkets, Acme or Albertsons) and many others. Even some regional chains such as Fiesta Mart in Texas accept it.Nice that other countries are getting it, but what would be even better would be if they launch it at Kroger.
I almost never use Apple Pay because I can't buy groceries with it.
