I didn't see anyone else who has posted about this yet, but did anyone notice during the Music Event, that the pic of the iPhone with the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store update had the icon way to the right? This would imply that three other applications will also debut with the update? Any speculations on if this is true or what they might be?

The ipod touch's bottom dock is similar to the new Leopard coming out. I wonder if the iphone will be updated to look like that. I would assume that Apple would keep the ipod touch and iphone somewhat similar with software.

...or is it just to the far right to be over and near the ipod app...

Ooh, we have a winner.

I think the OPs idea is just as likely as the fact that its just there above the ipod icon. That sorta does knock everything outta proportion a bit doesn't it? Anyway, i cant wait, even for just the music store part of the update. BRING IT ON APPLE!!! :apple::apple::apple:

Let's hope there's one each for Pages, Keynote, and Numbers.

If that's true, I'm all over it. No need to haul a laptop around!

I don't know. It really did look like they were hiding the rest of the phone screen for a reason.

Also, now both the composite and component iPod video-out cables on the Apple Store are listed as compatible with not only iPod touch but iPhone. Which makes me thing they made a listing mistake or... they're adding video out. And it can't be just for audio because the current connector on the iPod composite AV out cables won't even fit an iPhone headphone jack. Also, specifically, the *component* AV cable is shown as not compatible with 5G or 5.5G iPods, only with new nanos, the Classic, the iPod touch and the iPhone -- so they are weeding out incompatible iPods and not just listing everything.

I think video-out is coming in the next software update.
